What time is Man City vs Liverpool? Kickoff, live stream, TV schedule, channel to watch Premier League match

The Premier League returns with a bang this weekend as Manchester City host Liverpool at the Etihad Stadium on November 25.

Jurgen Klopp’s trip to Manchester is the first game on the schedule as domestic action takes centre stage following the final international break of 2023.

Liverpool have recovered superbly from a stumble in form at the end of September and they take on Pep Guardiola’s defending champions on the back of an unbeaten run of Premier League games.

However, City are still so dominant at home, with no losses across all competitions at the Etihad since November 2022.

Man City vs Liverpool projected lineups & team news

Mateo Kovacic is expected to miss out for City, due to a thigh injury, but Rodri has been passed fit following a fitness scare on Spain duty. The big news for Guardiola focuses on Erling Haaland, who is set to start, despite suffering an ankle injury in Norway’s 2-0 friendly win over the Faroe Islands.

Man City projected lineup (4-2-3-1, right to left): Ederson — Walker, Dias, Gvardiol, Ake — Rodri, Nunes — Silva, Alvarez, Doku — Haaland.

Klopp’s injury list is reduced by the returns of Ryan Gravenberch and Ibrahima Konate ahead of this game with Kostas Tsimikas returning early to avoid a suspension for Greece.

Luis Diaz and Darwin Nunez should lead the visitors attack despite their long trip back from South America.

Liverpool projected lineup (4-3-3, right to left): Alisson (GK) — Alexander-Arnold, Konate, van Dijk, Tsimikas — Szoboszlai, Mac Allister, Gravenberch — Salah, Nunez, Diaz.
