NBA trade rumors: Rui Hachimura, Jerami Grant among full list of players eligible to be traded on January 15

Trade season is about to heat up in the NBA.

With the Feb. 8 trade deadline just weeks away, a notable group of players become trade-eligible on Monday, Jan. 15. Why? The “newly signed trade restriction” on the contracts of said players is lifted, meaning they can now be included in transactions.

And while the number of players is significantly fewer than those that became trade-eligible on Dec. 15, the group of players who became trade-eligible on Jan. 15 consists of a few big names with even bigger salary figures.

Which NBA players are now trade-eligible? Here is a complete list of the players whose restrictions were lifted in mid-January. For the Dec. 15 list, head here.

Which NBA players become trade-eligible on Jan. 15?

Among players that become trade-eligible on Jan. 15, Portland forward Jerami Grant is one of the most notable.

Grant, who recently signed a five-year, $160 million deal with Portland, will turn 30 in March and is averaging 21.4 points per game this season — the most among players on the list below.

After Grant, LA’s Rui Hachimura and Austin Reaves have been mentioned in trade rumors as the Lakers are looking to upgrade their roster. Reaves, however, is almost certainly off-limits.
